Postnatal Doula

I provide practical, emotional, and physical support in those crucial, whirlwind days after birth, all tailored to you and your baby’s individual needs. I have worked with many families, and everybody’s needs are different!

Whether it’s taking care of baby while you have a shower/rest/me time, preparing nourishing meals, going for a walk together with the pram, hanging out the washing, practising baby wearing… whatever you need, I’m here for you.

Together we can explore what works best for you both in terms of feeding, sleeping, and soothing. I will be here to offer advice and support you as you get to know your new baby and help you to feel confident in trusting your own intuition.

• If you are considering postnatal doula support during your pregnancy, I like to organise at least one meeting before birth so that we can get comfortable with each other and make some preparations.

Investment for this service:

• £280 for 10 hour package

• £550 for 20 hour package

It can be really easy to feel overwhelmed by all the options when navigating NHS maternity services! I believe that the best way to a positive birth experience is to feel prepared for a variety of outcomes. Together we’ll go through the different options, discuss what works best for you, and come up with a comprehensive (but concise!) list of birth preferences that I’ll write up for you.

We’ll discuss birth physiology, hormones, creating a ‘portable birth environment’, pain management options, communicating with healthcare professionals, and whatever else comes up.

This service is available in person (in the comfort of your own home, or any other venue!), or remotely.

90 minute session + write up of birth preferences document - £100
